Initial Meeting Form for Counseling & Lay Counseling

Thank you for your interest in pursuing counseling. Please take a moment to fill out the following form so that we can understand how we might be able to best serve you. After you complete the form, an RCM ministry leader will be in contact with you within the next 48 hours to follow up and discuss setting up an initial meeting with one of our pastoral-biblical counselors or one of your church’s lay counselors.

We oversee both professionally-trained biblical counselors and volunteer lay counselors (for individual churches). All of the lay counselors are trained volunteers (over 50 hours of training from RCM and the recommendation of church leadership is required). They do not receive any compensation from the church, so all counseling done with them is free of cost.

Our biblical counselors all have masters or doctoral level training in biblical and pastoral counseling — note, these are forms of counseling that are not state-licensed so they are not eligible for insurance. Their fees are covered by the church (or they can be paid directly when a church is not able to cover costs). If you are meeting with one of them, you are asked to consider a donation of $30/hour, or whatever amount you are able, to help the church with the fees.
